Hi,
I will be staying two weeks in Grove City,PA next July. Can anyone tell a good trip for the weekend. I´ve hear about waterfalling house. Any suggestions. Thanks Well most people are giving you eastern PA locations..which I doubt you want to make the five hour drive across the state.
Yes, the falling water house is in Fayette county, which would be pretty far from grove city(it will take up the entire day) but it is a very interesting house to see. Make reservations though, it gets crowded..especially during the summer.
(they have their own website with directions)
Also, I would visit Pittsburgh. You just take 79 down to 279(parkway north), and then straight to downtown. Luckily that parkway isn't as bad with traffic since it doesn't have any tunnels.
Anyway, there are a lot of things to do downtown, and you can go to station square on the south side(across the smithfield bridge).
And check out the outlets there in grove city. I've never been but a lot of people travel there(a couple hours drive) just to go to them..they're supposed to have great deals on stuff.
And another place I would think about is north-lake erie. I went there when I was younger and it was pretty fun. It wouldn't be more than a couple hours drive from Grove City.
Have fun, people are pretty nice around here.
